The Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics made the following accreditation decisions at its March 9, 2026 meeting.

Accreditation Term Extended

  • Ohio University, Athens, Ohio – Delay the program’s site visit by two years and extend the accreditation term from December 31, 2027 to December 31, 2029
  • Loyola University-Chicago, Maywood, Ill. - Delay the program’s site visit by two years and extend the accreditation term from June 30, 2028 to June 30, 2030
  • East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Tenn. - Delay the program’s site visit by two years and extend the accreditation term from December 31, 2027 until December 31, 2029
