Presentation Types and Submission Dates

There are many opportunities to present at FNCE^®. Be aware of key dates listed below to ensure on time submission! Late submissions are note accepted.

Call for Sessions

Educational sessions are delivered in a variety of engaging formats—such as workshops, panels, interviews/fireside chats, debates, roundtables, case studies, and storytelling presentations. Both new and experienced speakers from diverse backgrounds and perspectives are encouraged to apply.

Submission dates: September 1 - November 20

Call for Abstracts

Submit your abstract for review to present a poster at FNCE^®! An abstract is a brief, written summary of the specific ideas or concepts to be presented, and a statement of their relevance to practice or research. Abstracts are published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and authors create posters to present their work on-site at FNCE^®.

Submission Dates: January 1 - February 16

Call for Learning Lounge Proposals

FNCE^® Learning Lounge sessions are high-level discussions designed to provide a quick look at trending health topics through 15-minute microlearning sessions. Individuals who are passionate about their subject area, are lively, engaging speakers, and comfortable speaking without visual aids are welcome to apply.

Submission Dates: March 1 - March 31

Call for Late-Breaking Abstracts

Late-Breaking Abstract submission is offered for those who have data which wasn't quite finalized by the initial Call for Abstracts. This is not meant to be a resubmission for those not accepted.
