Public Notices and Announcements

Accreditation actions and policy updates take place throughout the year. This section allows ACEND accredited program directors, faculty, preceptors, students and the general public to access the latest ACEND updates and news.

Program directors may be most interested in the ACEND UPdate, ACEND’s monthly newsletter aimed at providing programs with deadline reminders, training opportunities and updates to standard interpretation and policies. Virtual town hall meetings provide a forum for interested parties to ask questions about the latest ACEND news as well as an opportunity to learn about topics in dietetics education. Recordings of previous virtual town hall meetings are available as well as the link to the upcoming meeting. Program directors and faculty submit their Noteworthy Practices quarterly to share innovative education ideas that they have successfully implemented in their own dietetics program.

The general public may view recent Accreditation Decisions as well as Programs Under Review in our current site visit cycle. Interested parties may also File a Complaint about an ACEND accredited program and review ACEND’s complaint procedure.
