Young Hee Kim most recently worked as a clinical nutrition manager from 2012 to 2023 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass. Prior to 2012, she worked as a clinical nutrition manager at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. Young Hee is a past member of the Commission on Dietetic Registration, serving as CDR's chair in 2021-2022, and as an exam development volunteer. Young Hee is a past member of the Academy's House of Delegates, representing CDR and the Clinical Nutrition Managers dietetic practice group, and has held numerous leadership positions in CNM including chair, diversity liaison, secretary and member of the executive board. A former president of the Western Area Massachusetts Dietetic Association, Young Hee served on the Evidence Analysis Library's Wound Care Workgroup and as a program reviewer/site visitor for the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics. Young Hee is a past member of CDR's Nominating and Finance committees. She received the 2018 Award for Clinical Excellence from Morrison Health Care; the President's Excellence Award from Bayside Medical Center in 2017; and the University of Massachusetts' Professional Mentor Recognition Award in 1999, 2007 and 2011. Young Hee received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana State University.
