She also owns a private practice focused on freelance writing and continuing education. Stefanski served as a pediatric dietitian and an adjunct professor in York College's nursing department for 13 years. She is a member of the Academy's Nutrition Educators of Health Professionals, Food and Culinary Professionals and Dietitians in Business and Communications dietetic practice groups. Stefanski graduated from Messiah University and earned a master's degree in adult and distance education from Penn State University.
