Sherri L. Jones, MS, MBA, RDN, LDN, SSGB, CPHQ, FAND
House of Delegates Director
Jones is a senior improvement specialist at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside, in Pittsburgh Pa. She has held numerous positions at UPMC facilities since 1992, including clinical dietitian, patient services manager, clinical coordinator of the dietetic internship program and clinical nutrition manager.
With the Academy, she has served on the Committee for Lifelong Learning; Quality Management Committee and Quality Leader Alliance; the QM Committee's Definition of Terms Workgroup; the Nutrition Care Process Committee; Informatics Task Force Work Group and Malnutrition Work Group. She represented Pennsylvania in the Academy's House of Delegates; chaired the Pittsburgh affiliate's Council on Practice; and chaired the Clinical Nutrition Management dietetic practice group.
Jones received the Academy's 2020 Medallion Award for service to the organization and profession. She was the Pennsylvania affiliate's 2010 Outstanding Dietetics Educator of the Year and the Academy's 2010 Area 6 Educator of the Year. Jones received Pennsylvania's 2012 Outstanding Dietitian Award and the Award for Commitment and Excellence in Service (ACES) from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2013, 2017 and 2019.
Jones is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Carlow University.
