QPP Track One

The Merit-based Incentive Payment System, or MIPS, is a new Medicare performance reporting system that replaces several previous Medicare quality programs. Under MIPS, eligible clinicians (ECs) are evaluated in four performance categories. Learn more about each of the performance categories in the pages below.

  • MIPS Promoting Interoperability

    Promoting Interoperability replaces the Medicare electronic health record Incentive Program, also known as Meaningful Use.
