Academy Offers Recommendations to HHS on Electronic Health Record Reporting Program

09/16/2021 - The Academy provided the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services with recommendations for consideration on the developer-reported measures for the Electronic Health Record Reporting Program as required in the 21st Century Cures Act. As outlined in the Academy's comment letter, the following areas were addressed: level of reporting; data granularity and distribution results; appropriateness of the look-back period; patient access; clinical care information exchange; and standards adoption and conformance.
