ICD Codes

The ICD code sets are used by all medical coders and billers to report health care diagnoses and procedures. Officially called the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision, ICD-10 (10 referring to the revision number) is the current code set that must be used by all parties covered by the HIPAA—not just Medicare and Medicaid providers.
