I chose NOBIDAN for the network and representation of black professionals in nutrition and dietetics. I am delighted to be a part of the leadership. I am thankful for those that paved the way.

NOBIDAN is very close to my heart, the sisterhood, public service, and camaraderie. Serving on the Executive Committee has allowed me to expand my service to the community and meet amazing members who encourage me to continue this important work.

I joined NOBIDAN to be part of a powerful legacy advancing equity in nutrition while cultivating strong leadership and connections. It’s a dynamic network where leaders are developed, voices are amplified, and impact is created across generations of dietetics professionals.

It’s a supportive and empowering space to connect with others who share a passion for nutrition and dietetics. I value the opportunity to network with professionals, mentors, and peers who strengthen my confidence and help me grow personally and academically.

Being part of NOBIDAN has expanded my professional network and strengthened my impact. NOBIDAN has equipped me to better support aspiring dietitians, helping them enter the field of nutrition and dietetics with both confidence and competence.

As a woman of color, I chose NOBIDAN for its community, representation, and support. Through culturally relevant mentorship, strong accountability and Dr. Jennings’ RD exam prep, my confidence grew. I passed the CDR board exam. I now pay it forward.
