Subunits and Resources

CNM has three sub-units: Pediatrics, Informatics, and Quality and Process Improvement. Each sub-unit focuses on specific issues and opportunities.

The goal of the Pediatric sub-unit is to share benchmarking data and management, staffing, and program development best practices specific to pediatric services (both acute care and ambulatory). CNM Peds allows CNM members with a special interest in pediatrics to network and share resources.

The purpose of the Informatics sub-unit is to support member education about the topic of food and nutrition informatics, promote nutrition informatics, and keep CNM members aware of the activities of the Academy's Nutrition Informatics Committee.

The Quality and Process Improvement sub-unit educates clinical nutrition managers on healthcare quality standards, measures, and tools. The sub-unit shares both proven and cutting-edge process improvement methodologies and resources.
