Competency is a competency-tracking software developed by Education Management Solutions (EMS) for all ACEND® programs. The software is intended to help programs streamline competency tracking, assist in identifying at-risk learners, and help programs adhere to curriculum data collection requirements as noted in the ACEND® Accreditation Standards.
All ACEND-accredited programs have access to this system free of charge. Log into the ACEND® Portal to access the link to the Competency Software, as well as training resources for program directors, students and preceptors.
Your feedback helps improve the software and allows us to better assist your program. Fill out our survey to share general feedback about features working well for you, features that need improvement, and features you would like to see added in the future.
Competency Software Discontinuation
After conducting a thorough evaluation, ACEND will discontinue the use of the Competency Software after December 2028.
