FNCE® Media Registration


FNCE 2026: Powerful Connection. Infinite Possibilities.

All journalists are required to complete this electronic questionnaire no later than Friday, October 16 to be approved to register for the 2026 Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo® as a member of the media. The Academy will review your credentials and respond to your request to attend the meeting.

Who is eligible to register as media for FNCE® 2026?

Media registration is open to editors and reporters working full-time for print, broadcast or web publications with valid press credentials.

Required at time of registration, valid press credentials include at least one of the following:

  • A bylined article published by their employing news agency within the past six months
  • A copy of publication masthead listing the individual's primary position as an editor or reporter
  • Official photo identification issued by the individual’s employing news agency or government

Bloggers will be considered for media registration on a case-by-case basis and must provide three of their most recent blog posts on a subject related to nutrition or health to be considered for media registration.

Freelance journalists may apply for complimentary media registration, but must present the following:

  • A signed letter on company letterhead from your assignment editor confirming your assignment to cover the event
  • A bylined story from the publication you are freelancing for dated within the last six months

Public relations executives, marketing executives, authors, analysts, sales representatives, consultants and researchers are not eligible to register as media.

The Academy reserves the right to deny media registration to any individual who does not meet the above guidelines, or to limit the number of media registrants from any one publication.

The Academy requests a copy of conference coverage within one month of the conclusion of the event.

Confirmed Media Registrants

The 2026 Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo® will take place October 24-27 at Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Complimentary press registration is limited. Registered media will print out their badges with general attendees at the Registration area during posted hours.

Your press badge must be worn visibly at all times during the event.

Onsite Interview Requests

The Academy's Strategic Communications Team is available to help facilitate onsite interviews with the Academy's Spokespeople. Please send interview requests to our Media inbox.

Photography/Videography

All media video crews must be escorted through the Expo Hall and conference areas by a member of the Academy's Communications Team. Once your registration has been confirmed, please email our Communications team to request an escort.

To foster a professional and respectful environment on the Expo floor and throughout the conference, we ask all journalists to please introduce themselves and ask permission from exhibitors and attendees before photographing them or their booths.

Please do not take photographs during FNCE® educational sessions. The Academy hires a professional photographer to capture educational sessions; please email our Media inbox for session photograph requests.
