The ACEND® Board follows the schedule for program accreditation decisions noted in the table below. The accreditation decision letter is emailed to programs two weeks after the Board meeting.

*Suggested due dates for submitting the substantive change for adding a graduate degree to meet the December 31, 2023 ACEND 2022 Accreditation Standards requirement:
June 30, 2022 for dietetic internship programs participating in the Spring 2023 match
September 30, 2022 for coordinated programs with plans to advertise and recruit in Spring 2023
Programs submitting a substantive change between October 1 and December 15, 2022, will be reviewed at the April 2023 ACEND Board meeting and will receive the accreditation decision letter in May 2023. This may not provide sufficient time for recruiting and advertising for Fall 2023 class.
