The Nutrition Research Network (formerly the Dietetics Practice Based Research Network) conducts, supports, promotes and advocates for practice-based research that answers questions important to dietetics practice. Nutrition Research Network members are RDNs who share a common interest in improving patient care through practice-based research or designing research projects that draw from the knowledge and understanding of practicing clinicians. Network members work in variety of practice settings and specialties and include practitioners, researchers and students.
There are many ways to get involved with the Nutrition Research Network, including collecting data for a research project, suggesting research questions and participating in mentoring. Membership in the Nutrition Research Network is open and free to all Academy members. To join, members can email NRN@eatright.org with "join" and their member number in the subject line.

The Nutrition Research Network works to answer the questions important to dietetics practice and to promoting nutritional health of all people. It promotes the importance and value of practice-based research. The infrastructure of the network provides ongoing support for practice-based research projects as well as dissemination of that research.
Nutrition Research Network membership is open and free to all Academy members. While Nutrition Research Network membership allows members to submit projects to the Nutrition Research Network, members are not obligated to propose or participate in projects.
For members who have an idea for a research project, Nutrition Research Network provides mentoring to help with certain aspects of the research process.
