Signing In


How do I sign in to EatrightPRO?

Go to www.eatrightPRO.org and click Sign In. Here, you can use your member ID number (username) or email and enter the password you used to create your account. If you cannot remember your password, click on the Forgot Password option. If you have never created an account, click Create Account and follow the steps provided.

Membership Dues


What is the Career Starter Dues Program and how can I participate?

The Career Starter Dues Program offers reduced dues rates for members in their first five years of Active category membership eligibility. The graduated dues are offered in a tiered structure based on your RDN/NDTR eligibility date on file with the Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR). Dues increase incrementally each year for up to five years as you get established in the profession. Graduation date can be used in lieu of eligibility date for those who do not pursue a CDR credential. Student members who recently established eligibility for a CDR credential will automatically be moved into this program. You can also contact the Academy at membership@eatright.org to see if you qualify.

I am a dietetic intern, which membership category should I be in?

If you are a dietetic you are eligible for the Student member category. If you are already a Student member, simply renew your Student membership.

If you are an Active category member and have been accepted to and/or are beginning your Dietetic Internship, please download and complete a Returning Student application and submit to the Academy Membership Team along with verification of your acceptance/enrollment in your program.

I am an Active category member and am going back to school to further my education, would I qualify for Student category membership?

Yes, if you are an Active category member and will be enrolled full-time in a U.S. regionally accredited college/university you can apply for Student category membership. Please download and complete a Returning Student application and submit the application along with verification of your full-time student enrollment and Student dues to the Academy Membership Team. You will need to reapply to the Student category each year at renewal time.

How do I change from Active to Retired category membership?

Please email membership@eatright.org or call our Member Service Center at 800/877-1600 ext. 5000 and a representative will be able to assist you. (Note: Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is separate from the RD/RDN or DTR/NDTR credentials administered through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Questions regarding your RD/RDN or DTR/NDTR credential can be directed to CDR at cdr@eatright.or or 800/877-1600, ext. 5500.)

How do I add or remove Auto-Renew?

To add or remove Auto-Renew, please go to www.eatrightPRO.org, sign in, and click on My Academy. Scroll down to Billing Preferences and click View. Select the appropriate radial dial next to Auto-Renew Membership to turn this feature on or off or contact the Academy's Member Service Center.

Why do I receive a message that I am not eligible to renew?

In most circumstances, you have received this message because you have already renewed your Academy membership, or, you may be enrolled in the Auto-Renew program. If you believe this to be false, please contact our Member Service Center at 800/877-1600 ext. 5000 and a representative will be able to assist you.

How can my employer pay a portion of my dues?

If your employer wants to pay for all or a portion of your membership dues, please have them contact membership@eatright.org or call our Member Service Center at 800/877-1600 ext. 5000. To ensure prompt and appropriate processing of your membership renewal, please request that your employer provide the Academy with your name (as it is listed on your account) and member ID number with the payment.

Can I pay for membership after May 31st?

Yes, you can pay after May 31st, but your membership dues will be subject to an additional $25 reinstatement fee.

How do I show proof of membership?

When you join or renew your membership, you receive an Academy membership card. This can be used as proof of membership. You can also print a membership certificate. Go to www.eatrightPRO.org, sign in, and click on My Academy. Under Membership Information, you will see the option to download and print the membership certificate.

I lost my membership card, how can I get a new one?

To receive a replacement membership card, please contact our Member Service Center at 800/877-1600 ext. 5000 or send an email to membership@eatright.org. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing and delivery of your membership card.

Is membership tax deductible?

Yes, a portion of Academy membership may be tax deductible as ordinary business expenses. For the 2018-19 and 2019-20 membership years it is estimated that 13% of the total dues amount is allocated to lobbying activity and is therefore not deductible.

I created an account on www.eatrightPRO.org, but everything I try to access says I'm not a member. Why is this?

In order to receive access to the member-only content on the website, you must pay membership dues. Members can take advantage of many valuable benefits.

I am an RDN, but I am not practicing, can I still be a member?

Yes, you can still be a member of the Academy. Learn about the different member types and criteria.

I am retiring, can I still be a member?

Yes, you can continue your Academy membership as a Retired category member if you are 62 years of age or older and no longer gainfully employed in dietetics. For more information on changing your membership category, contact the Academy Member Service Center (membership@eatright.org or 800/877-1600, ext. 5000. (Note: Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is separate from the RD/RDN or DTR/NDTR credentials administered through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Questions regarding your RD/RDN or DTR/NDTR credential can be directed to CDR at cdr@eatright.or or 800/877-1600, ext. 5500.)

How can I obtain a receipt?

To find your receipts, please go to www.eatrightPRO.org, sign in, and click on My Academy. Scroll down to Order History and click View. You will then be able to review open and paid invoices, as well as print a receipt.

DPG, MIG, and Affiliate Membership


What is a DPG?

A DPG is a dietetic practice group. These professional interest groups enable members to enhance their specialized knowledge, share practice tips, and establish relationships with colleagues from all over the world.

What is a MIG?

A MIG is a member interest group. These are groups of Academy members who have a common interest. Unlike dietetic practice groups or affiliates, member interest groups focus on areas other than the practice of dietetics or geographic location.

What is an affiliate?

Affiliates are the Academy's state-level associations. They sponsor local education programs, networking opportunities, scholarship fundraising efforts and more. Affiliate membership is included in your Academy membership. You can select any of the 50 states, District of Columbia (DC), Puerto Rico or the International Affiliate of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as your affiliate although most members select the state where they reside or work.

How do I add a DPG or MIG?

To add a DPG to your membership and you have already renewed your Academy membership, please go to www.eatrightPRO.org, sign in, and click on My Academy. In the My Groups section, please click Add Groups. Next, select the group(s) that you want and make your payment at the end.

If you have not renewed your membership, you can add DPGs and/or MIGs when joining or renewing your Academy membership.

I purchased a DPG or MIG today, so why can't I sign in?

Please allow 1-2 business days for your membership data to sync with the DPG or MIG.

How do I update dietetic practice groups (DPGs) or member interest groups (MIGs) if I have enrolled in Auto-Renew?

Please contact our Member Service Center at 800/877-1600 ext. 5000 and a representative will be able to assist you.

How do I change my affiliate?

To change your Academy affiliate, please email membership@eatright.org or call our Member Service Center at 800/877-1600 ext. 5000 and a representative will be able to assist you. You can change your affiliate at any time at no additional cost.

Can I switch my DPGs or MIGs after I have paid my membership dues?

DPGs and MIGs are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, if you notice that your DPG and/or MIG membership was processed incorrectly, please email membership@eatright.org or call our Member Service Center at 800/877-1600 ext. 5000 and a representative will be able to assist you.

Complimentary CPEUs for Members


How do I get more CPEUs for free with my Academy membership?

There are up to 60 complimentary CPEU available to Academy members per year through the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dieteticsand Food & Nutrition Magazine®.

How do I access the Journal quizzes?

To access the Journal Quizzes, go to www.eatrightPRO.org, sign in and click on My Academy. Scroll down to Journal Quizzes and click Access. You will then need to sign in again. From there, you will be redirected to the Journal quiz website. The first page will have a list of all the quizzes that you have already completed. To start a new quiz, click on Select Available CPE Quizzes

How do I access the Food & Nutrition Magazine® quizzes?

Visit Food & Nutrition Magazine® and click on CPE. From there, you can choose from the available quizzes.

Additional Information


Where can I find my profile information?

You can view your profile information by signing in to www.eatrightPRO.org and clicking on My Academy. In this section, you will find all of your Academy profile information and make changes, if necessary.

Can I get assistance with coding and reimbursement?

Academy members can get assistance with coding and reimbursement by contacting reimburse@eatright.org.

I am a Student and want the paper version of the Journal. How do I get it?

Student members receive online access to the Journal. If you wish to receive a mailed, hard copy of the Journal, you can upgrade to the Student Plus option for $22 (annually). Please contact our Member Service Center at 800/877-1600 ext. 5000 or email membership@eatright.org and let us know that you want to add the print issues of the Journal through Student Plus.

Do I have access to the Nutrition Care Manual (NCM®) and electronic Nutrition Care Process Terminology (eNCPT)?

As an Academy member, you receive Academy preferred pricing on the NCM® and eNCPT.
