Medicare Physician Fee Schedule
Each year, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) releases the calendar year Physician Fee Schedule final rule that updates payment rates and other payment policies for services provided by physicians and other health care professionals paid through Medicare. The Physician Fee Schedule lists payment rates for physicians. By law, registered dietitian nutritionists are paid 85% of the physician's rate.
