Roberts is the area director of clinical nutrition for Aramark Healthcare at Baylor Scott & White Health and director of the dietetic internship at Baylor University Medical Center. Previously, she was Baylor's nutrition support team coordinator and a marrow/stem cell transplant dietitian and the assistant director of clinical nutrition at Baylor's Dallas campus.
Roberts is a member of the Academy's Quality Management Committee; past chair and member of the Council on Future Practice. She has also served as a member of the International Dietetics Nutrition Terminology Advisory Panel; the Future Connections Summit Oversight Workgroup; the Nominating Committee; the Critical Illness Evidence Analysis Workgroup and the Standards of Practice/Standards of Professional Performance for the Nutrition Support Dietitian Task Force. She has served in numerous positions with the Dietitians in Nutrition Support dietetic practice group, including secretary and chair.
Roberts received the Academy's 2018 Medallion Award for outstanding service to the Academy and the profession; the 2018 Award of Clinical Excellence and the Award of Academic Excellence from Rutgers University; the 2008 Dietitians in Nutrition Support Distinguished Service Award; and the Academy Foundation's 2007 Excellence in Practice Award for Clinical Dietetics.
Roberts earned her undergraduate and master's degrees from Texas A&M University and a doctorate from Rutgers University.
