    JAND is the premier source for the practice and science of food, nutrition, and dietetics. The purpose, expressed in the mission statement, is to be "the premier peer-reviewed journal in the field of food, nutrition, and dietetics." Submission to JAND is open to all individuals in the food, nutrition, and dietetics profession as well as allied health fields.

    JAND Global Reports is a Gold Open Access companion journal to JAND dedicated to publishing original research related to the practice and science of food, nutrition, and dietetics in the global community.
