Ethics Education Facilitators' Guide

The Ethics Education Facilitator’s Guide has been updated to reinforce the four principles and 32 standards of the 2018 Code of Ethics for the Nutrition and Dietetics Profession. This tool is intended to assist educators and leaders in providing education to current and future members and credentialed practitioners about the Code of Ethics.

The Guide provides an overview of the Code of Ethics along with a facilitator’s script, handouts, case studies and an optional quiz. The presentation offers a guided discussion and is not intended to be an in-depth study of professional ethics.

These educational resources have been designed for a two-hour presentation, or longer, depending on the discussion and the number of case scenarios reviewed. This program has been approved for 2.0 (Level 1) continuing professional education credits by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for RDNs and NDTRs who attend this live activity.
