Member Input Requested for Congressional Hearing on Infant Formula Shortages

05/12/2022 — The U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce's Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee will hold a hearing on Wednesday, May 25, on infant formula shortages. The Academy has been asked to provide critical information as Congress addresses the shortages in infant formula. Registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs), nutrition and dietetics technicians, registered (NDTRs) and other Academy members who work in pediatric nutrition, community and public health and in other settings have been actively engaged in mitigating the impact of the infant formula shortages on nutrition security for clients and patients.
