2021 Slate of Candidates

The slate lists self-reported educational degrees, CDR issued credentials, state nutrition and dietetics licensure titles and Academy fellow designations. Please view the candidate's biographical information form and/or website for other credentials.

The slate of candidates for the 2021 national ballot, chosen from many excellent nominees, follows below.

The process of selecting candidates is detailed and deliberate, from reaching out to solicit nominees, fine tuning nomination forms, crafting interview questions and making final selections from a pool of very qualified individuals. At every step the Nominating Committee emphasizes the critical importance of inclusion, diversity, equity and access in choosing leaders for the Academy. We are humbled by the trust placed on the committee by those who have elected us. The Nominating Committee has a moral accountability to ensure access to leadership by identifying equitable pathways for individuals to serve. We are passionately committed to serving you through our various roles and responsibilities.

Winning Strategies to Run a Successful Campaign Webinar

The Academy's National Campaign Rules have been revised for the 2021 election. Nominating Committee members Dayle Hayes and Demetrius Willis presented a webinar on December 15 to inform members about changes to the campaign rules and how to take an active role in the election process. For those of you who were unable to attend the live webinar, you may view the recorded session.
