Description

Join Academy CEO Wylecia Wiggs Harris, PhD, CAE, for a high-energy, forward-looking session that brings the Academy’s Mission in Motion to life. Learn how member insights are shaping the Academy’s next steps, strengthening trust and advancing progress across every pillar of the Strategic Plan.
Momentum is building as the Academy and its members lead transformative work across every practice area, driving change through research, advocacy and innovation, with key updates on programs and initiatives shaping the future of the profession.

Following Wylecia’s remarks, celebrated dietitian, author, and media personality Ellie Krieger will take the stage to deliver an inspiring keynote on the power of creativity.

You don’t need to be an artist to benefit from a creative mindset. In fact, tapping into your creativity may be the key to greater personal fulfillment and professional growth.

In this inspiring keynote, Ellie Krieger will share her personal story of how embracing creative pursuits not only enhanced her happiness but also became the foundation for a thriving, purpose-driven career in dietetics. Through powerful storytelling and practical examples, Ellie will explore how creativity can elevate communication, strengthen cultural awareness, and increase adaptability— all essential skills in today’s evolving nutrition landscape. She’ll spotlight RDNs who have successfully integrated the arts into their work, unpack the research linking creative thinking with personal well-being, and offer actionable strategies for cultivating creativity in everyday life.

Whether you're feeling stuck or simply seeking renewed energy in your career, this session will leave you inspired and equipped with new ways to think, connect, and lead.

This lecture is made possible through support from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation’s Mary Lou South Memorial Fund.
