Honors and Awards

Affiliate associations annually select and honor practitioners from their regions. Affiliates also play an important role in ACEND's educator and student award programs.

These awards promote a profession that reflects the cultural, educational, ethnic, experiential, gender, philosophical, physical, political, racial, religious, sexual orientation and socioeconomic characteristics of the public we serve.

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation offers recognition awards, leadership recognition and education stipends to members and dietetic students.

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation provides dietetic scholarships to students and research grants to Academy members to continue making evidence-based contributions to the field of dietetics, food and nutrition.

The Academy is pleased to present its updated, contemporary and accessible eatright.org for consumers, eatrightPRO.org for members and eatrightSTORE.org for the best books, CPE and more in nutrition and dietetics.

The Academy honors individuals who have advanced the nutrition and dietetics profession, exhibited leadership and shown devotion to serving others in nutrition and dietetics, as well as in allied fields.
