Medicare

Medicare is the federal health insurance program provided by the government to people age 65 and older, certain people with disabilities, and people with end-stage renal disease. When it comes to becoming a Medicare provider, CMS rules and regulations may appear complicated at first, but they're actually more straightforward than private payers, and they're consistent—which billing codes to use, what diagnoses are covered, how many hours of coverage are available and how much you will get paid—no matter the state in which you practice.
