Gill is the president and chief executive offers of Apostle Group LLC, a consulting company that provides innovative solutions to clients in health care, food and nutrition. She is also the chief executive officer of the Wholesome Village Inc., in Rockville, Md. Previously, Gill was a private practice nutrition consultant for more than 20 years and food and nutrition services director and outpatient dietitian at health care centers in Maryland. Gill is a past president of the Maryland Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, a past member of the national Academy's Nutrition Services Payment Committee and the Maryland affiliate's public policy coordinator. She was a member of the Western Montgomery County Citizens Advisory Board, a member of Montgomery County's Seniors Health and Wellness Advisory Board, and president of the Seven Locks elementary school Parent Teacher Association. She also served as the Academy representative on the CMS WAVE 4 Chronic Disease and Diabetes Subcommittee. Gill served as the Academy Treasurer in 2021-2022 and will serve as the Academy President in 2024-2025. Gill earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Punjabi University in India. She completed her coordinated program in dietetics at Buffalo State University and Howard University. Gill earned a master's in business administration from the University of Maryland – University College.
