• Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo^® (FNCE^®): Each fall, the Academy sponsors the world’s largest meeting of food and nutrition experts — RDNs, NDTRs, researchers, policymakers, health care providers and industry leaders attend FNCE® to address key issues affecting the health of all Americans. World-renowned nutrition and health experts explore the latest advances in medical nutrition therapy, health care technology, nutrition services access and opportunity, and much more.
• Leadership Institute: The Leadership Institute is a comprehensive professional development program designed to help current and future leaders in nutrition, health and wellness develop leadership, communication and career development skills ranging from executive presence to strategic planning and team building.
• Nutrition Focused Physical Exam Hands-on Training Workshop: This workshop provides RDNs with the skills to perform a nutrition focused physical exam, empowering the RDN to accurately identify and provide a nutrition diagnosis of malnutrition for patients. Workshops are available across the country with the focus on the adult or pediatric population.
• DPG, MIG and Affiliate Workshops: Many Academy groups have annual or regional meetings and events.
