Do you have an idea for a webinar that would benefit dietetics and nutrition professionals? Would you like to share your knowledge in a particular subject area? If so, we invite you to submit a proposal to the Call for Webinars! We are seeking proposals on beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level topics of interest to food and nutrition professionals.
The Center for Lifelong Learning offers monthly webinars on an array of topics, focusing on emerging and expanding areas of interest to build knowledge and skills and address career development.

What is the format for webinars?
Most of our webinars have a running time of 60 minutes: 45 minutes of content with 15 minutes of questions. Our webinars involve one or two speakers who represent the perspectives of different organizations and/or backgrounds and provide a balanced approach to any given topic.
Do you offer an honorarium to webinar presenters?
Presenters whose webinar proposals are accepted for presentation and who complete all stages of the planning process (including participation in planning calls, development of a webinar description and handouts, and delivery of the webinar on the scheduled date) will receive an honorarium.
When will I know if my webinar proposal has been accepted?
Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis and authors will be notified of their status within 4-6 weeks of submitting.
Is my proposed webinar subject to change if it is accepted?
Webinar proposals are considered "works in progress" and are viewed as an opportunity to collaborate with presenters. As your proposal is reviewed, we may suggest ideas for a different scope or focus of the proposed content. The Academy has the option to decline proposed or suggested speakers based on their qualifications or frequency of presentation. Due to our continued efforts to ensure a balanced approach, the Academy may recommend and/or require speaker modifications for proposal acceptance.
