Eat Well, Live Well, Be Well Toolkit
This toolkit provides members with a set of print and media resources that can be used in faith-based health ministries on issues such as diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, eating on a budget and living with kidney disease. Racial and ethnic minority groups have historically not had broad opportunities for economic, physical, and emotional health, and these inequities have increased the risk of getting sick and dying. This toolkit comes from a partnership between the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the National Baptist Convention USA (NBCUSA), to make use of their respective resources to pursue the goal of a strategic partnership aimed at reducing health disparities for African Americans.
