Senate Passes Diabetes Commission Bill

09/15/2017 - The Senate recently passed the National Clinical Care Commission Act (S. 920), which gives registered dietitian nutritionists a seat at the table to ensure that federal programs provide the most efficient and effective care for people with diabetes and related diseases.

The bill is the non-identical Senate version of H.R. 309 requiring that it return to the House of Representatives to be voted on again in the coming weeks.
