Congress Hints at Delay for USDA Relocations

01/23/2019 - Language in appropriations bills in the Senate and House suggests moving forward with the proposed relocation of the National Institute of Food and Agriculture is premature and without adequate justification and cost analysis.

The proposed language would also delay the proposed transfer of the Economic Research Service to the Office of the chief Economist.
