Congress Begins Consideration of Health Spending Legislation
06/19/2018 - The U.S. House Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education Appropriations Subcommittee passed the Fiscal Year 2019 Labor, Health and Human Services spending bill. The bill, which includes $177.1 billion in discretionary funding, will now be considered by the full Appropriations Committee in the coming weeks.
The Academy will provide additional analysis on the provisions that impact health and nutrition.
