Academy Asks Senate: Match Houses Funding for CDC

07/03/2019 - The Academy joined allied organizations in urging the U.S. Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies to match the House of Representatives' Fiscal Year 2020 appropriation of $100 million to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The appropriation would fund a new, multiyear initiative that will transform the public health surveillance enterprise and save lives.
