Amended Academy Bylaws Include Revisions to Student and International Membership

03/22/2019 - The Academy's Bylaws were amended by the House of Delegates on March 1, 2019. The amendments include revisions related to the Student and International Members Qualifications.

Student Members Qualifications

The revised term limit of eight (8) years for student membership classification aligns with the Future Education Model requiring a minimum of a Master's degree.

International Members Qualifications:

This amendment helped to remove current obstacles for International membership applicants from countries by allowing the provision of other documents to verify education and/or training in food, nutrition or dietetics completed outside of the United States.
