Dietitians who integrate the science and practice of enteral and parenteral nutrition in order to provide appropriate nutrition support therapy to individuals encompassing adults, neonates/pediatrics, inpatients, outpatients, home care, transplantation and complex gastrointestinal disorders.

  • DNS Advanced Practice Residency: A residency program designed to direct practicing RDNs with several years of nutrition support experience towards achieving an expert level of professional performance in nutrition support.
  • Biennial DNS Symposium: A symposium with multiple nutrition support sessions led by expert.
  • Skills Workshops: workshops designed to train dietitians to conduct nutrition focused physical exams.
  • Malnutrition Focused Physical Examination Video: A video demonstrating how to assess patients for muscle and fat loss, fluid accumulation and use of the handgrip dynamometer.
  • Parenteral and Enteral PowerPoint Slide Sets: For use in education and training.
