Diane Heller

Heller is a retired consultant at Nutrition Solutions, where she worked for more than 20 years, providing nutrition programs at corporations, including Ford Motor Company, in physicians' offices and in schools. Previously, she was the dietetic internship director and the assistant director of nutrition services at Georgia Baptist Medical Center.

A past president of the Georgia Dietetic Association, Heller represented Georgia in the Academy's House of Delegates for nine years and served on the Academy's Board as a House of Delegates Director from 2013 to 2016. Heller is a past secretary, communications director and symposium chair of the Academy's Weight Management dietetic practice group.

She also is a past treasurer of the Nutrition Entrepreneurs dietetic practice group. She established the Academy's Clinical Nutrition Management DPG, serving as its first chairperson. Heller was the secretary of the Academy's Foundation from 2007 to 2011 and chaired the Foundation in 2012-2013. She is the current chair of the Foundation's philanthropy council. For more than 15 years, Heller was the treasurer of the Georgia Dietetic Foundation. Heller has completed two marathons and three triathlons.

She is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and earned a master of medical science degree from Emory University's School of Medicine.
