Director, Online Product Management

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic Products, Strategy and Development Team as a Director of Online Product Management. This position will be responsible for quality assurance, platform management, system integrations, R&D efforts, and cross-product analytics and reporting for a suite of clinically oriented products: Nutrition Care Manual, Pediatric Nutrition Care Manual, Sports Nutrition Care Manual, e-Nutrition Care Process Terminology and Evidence Analysis Library. The Director, by working with external developers, makes recommendations to ensure expansion of this product line and services.

The ideal candidate will have the talent, experience and temperament to work with several Academy teams expert in research, content, business and marketing.

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree required, with an advanced degree in computer or information science preferred.
  • At least 5 years' experience required in the information, research, publishing, or software development industry, in either an operations- or product-oriented role.
  • Knowledge of product development lifecycle.
  • Experience managing staff required.
  • Strong communication and relationship skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams required.
  • Experience in agile methodologies, rapid prototyping, and reporting and tracking tools required.
