Vora is the interim chief human resources officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Previously, she was the foundation's director of talent, where she was responsible for developing and delivering talent-focused solutions to support a high-integrity culture and global impact. She oversaw internal and external talent acquisition, talent and succession planning, people analytics and workforce planning.

Vora also worked as chief talent and learning officer at Cetera Financial Group, in El Segundo, Calif., where she built the end-to-end talent management department before serving as the head of customer experience for 15,000 financial advisors.

She previously worked as senior vice president and head of global talent development at Northern Trust, in Chicago. Vora is a graduate of Albion College. She earned a master's degree in creative writing from Temple University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
