Academy Foundation Chair
Warshaw is the owner of Hope Warshaw Associates, LLC, where she applies more than 40 years of experience as a consultant, book author, freelance writer and media spokesperson focused on diabetes and weight management. Warshaw is the author of books including Diabetes Meal Planning Made Easy and Eat Out Eat Well: The Guide to Eating Healthy in Any Restaurant, published by the American Diabetes Association and is the author or co-author of dozens of research publications, books and chapters for health care professionals.
Warshaw is the Academy Foundation's 2022-2023 chair. She is a longtime member of the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists and served as the organization's president in 2016. Warshaw is a past recipient of the Foundation's Award for Excellence in Consultation and Business Practice. An active member for many years of the Academy's Diabetes dietetic practice group, Warshaw received the DPG's Distinguished Service Award.
Warshaw is a graduate of the University of Vermont and earned a graduate degree from Emory University School of Medicine.
