Support Our Second Century
The Academy's vision for our next century is grounded in an extraordinary commitment to collaboration, a focus on service and an emphasis on solving the greatest food and nutrition challenges of the 21st century — creating a world where people and communities flourish because of the transformational power of food and nutrition.
As the Academy continues to support this vision, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation is working to put pieces of the initiative into action and will support the projects that grow out of the new vision, mission and strategic plan.
In addition to supporting the Foundation and Second Century initiative, use the Social Media Toolkit for Donors on eatrightFoundation.org/SecondCentury to let your followers know how their own contributions will help create a better future for the profession and the world.

Centennial Presentation: Past, Present and Future
A look through the Academy's history by decade, view and share this presentation with your Academy groups, affiliates and colleagues. If you plan to give this presentation and would like to have the original PowerPoint version with notes, please email SecondCentury@eatright.org with "Centennial Presentation" in the subject line.
In commemoration of our centennial, the Academy collaborated with the Dittrick Medical History Center, on the campus of Case Western Reserve University — in our "birthplace" of Cleveland — on a museum exhibit that vividly depicted 100 years of bringing nutrition and health to the public, in the U.S. and throughout the world.
The exhibit ran from May 1 to May 22, showcasing our history through original photographs, archives and commemorative items documenting the organization's first century and setting the stage for our next century.
Photos and videos of the exhibit will be posted to eatrightPRO.org for those who are unable to see this historic exhibit in person, as well as a display at the Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo™, in October in Chicago.
