These policies, which are outlined in the Academy Policy and Procedure Manual, cover a variety of topics related to the operation of the Academy and are determined by the Board of Directors. The master copy of this manual is retained by the Executive Office at Headquarters. Copies are distributed to the Executive Committee of the BOD, including the House of Delegates Speaker, Speaker-elect of the HOD and Academy staff. All policies apply to any organization activity within the Academy.
Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Bylaws are rules adopted by the organization for governing meetings and association affairs. They define the relationship, the rights, and the obligations for members, directors, officers and staff. Bylaws should be a living document, to be used, reviewed and revised as necessary. The Bylaws were last amended March 26, 2015.
