Code of Ethics for the Profession of Dietetics
The code was developed by the Academy and its credentialing agency, the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) to provide guidance to all RDNs, DTRs and Academy members in their professional practice and conduct.
Members can opt to receive a daily email providing a quick review of the nation's leading food, nutrition and health headlines, with links to articles.

Provides members with weekly updates on public policy, continuing education, career resources, research and Foundation activities.

Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
The Journal is the premier source for the practice and science of food and nutrition. Each month, it offers in-depth research and practice information, opportunities for continuing professional education and more. The complete Journal online has a database of issues back to 1993, and many extra features. A table of contents for each new issue is sent to your inbox.
Malnutrition Resource Center
The Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, with sponsorship provided by Abbott Nutrition and the Abbott Nutrition Health Institute (ANHI), presents the Malnutrition Resource Center. This resource center provides peer-reviewed content covering malnutrition and is an important educational tool for nutrition professionals.
The Academy provides resources for members to assist clients and patients from diverse backgrounds in using the new MyPlate dietary guidance icon and applying the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
Nutrition Care Manual® (NCM®)
Created and peer-reviewed by specialty area experts, NCM is an online diet manual that includes tools for nutrition risk screening, nutrition diagnosis and prescription, printer-friendly patient materials, calculators, a formulary of nutritional solutions and more. NCM meets the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Interpretive Guidelines for hospital certification and Joint Commission standards of accreditation. Additionally, the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP) has named NCM as its preferred diet manual. Members receive a special discount.
Pediatric Nutrition Care Manual® (PNCM®)
A web-based manual with more than 40 major topics, including normal nutrition for all pediatric life stages, food allergies, nutrition support, neonatal care, developmental disabilities and weight management. It provides you with access to pediatric specific evidence- and knowledge-based nutrition information. PNCM® is purchased by an annual subscription and Academy members receive preferred pricing.
