Marcy Kyle

Kyle is regional director of nutrition and diabetes services at Pen Bay Medical Center in Maine. In addition to her professional responsibilities, she is a volunteer member of the Diabetes Action Alliance of Maine; a past member and chair of the Maine Diabetes Control Project Advisory Committee; and chair of Pen Bay Medical Center's Works on Wellness Committee.

She also has served on the Academy's Board of Directors and House Leadership Team; the Evidence-Based Practice Committee; and recently completed her service as vice-chair of the Council on Future Practice. The Council recently completed a three-year visioning process, culminating in the publication Kyle co-authored in the January 2017 Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics titled "Visioning Report 2017: A Preferred Path Forward for the Nutrition and Dietetics Profession."

Committed to helping guide public policy on nutrition, Kyle is a past member of the Academy's Legislative Public Policy Committee; served as a State Policy Representative; is a current member of the Public Policy Panel for the Maine Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; and continues to meet with national and state legislators as well as with top agency officials.

She is a graduate of the University of Texas.
