ACEND® ACCREDITATION WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING

Offerings include workshops and webinars addressing how to meet ACEND® accreditation requirements for program directors, administrators, faculty and others interested in ACEND®'s accreditation process.

JOURNAL CLUB

Offerings include directions and suggested articles and discussion agendas for hosting or participating in a journal club for RDNs and NDTRs interested in earning CPE credits while discussing articles about nutrition and dietetics education.


ACEND® Accreditation Workshops and Training on 2017 ACEND Accreditation Standards

ACEND® Program Director Workshops

The Program Director workshops are designed to help dietetic education program directors and administrators learn the latest accreditation standards and specific details on how to prepare for self-study reports, program assessment reports and site visits.

Individuals interested in applying to start a new ACEND® program as well as newly appointed program directors are welcome and encouraged to attend and may be eligible for a registration discount. If you meet the discount requirements, as outlined in the ACEND® fee schedule, contact ACEND® at [email protected] for a discount code before you register. Twelve hours (Level 2) CPE credit available for attendance.

Travel/HotelHotel and travel expenses are the responsibility of the attendee. Please do not make any non-refundable travel arrangements until you have received written confirmation from ACEND® that you are enrolled in the workshop.


Journal Club

Hosting a Journal Club Directions

Hosting or participating in a journal club allows you to interact with your peers and stay abreast of recent research and information related to dietetics while earning CDR Type 160 Journal Club CPE credits. As part of ACEND's mission to promote quality and innovation in dietetics education, ACEND® is providing support for earning journal club CPE credits. While ACEND® cannot directly provide these CPE credits, it has developed tips and discussion agendas for suggested articles related to dietetics education you can use to get started. These agendas are offered below.
